Oakstone Academy Art Reception
Please join us on Thursday May 7 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the John and Marian Becker Gallery (Lower Level, Courtright Memorial Library) for a reception to officially open the Spring Art Show by the students from the Oakstone Academy.
“The Oakstone Academy at The Children’s Center for Developmental Enrichment is an independent, private school that offers a challenging academic experience for children in pre-school through the middle school grades. Oakstone Academy is unique in that it offers an inclusive, classroom based intervention model to promote independent performance for children with autism spectrum disorder along side their typically developing peers” (for more information visit their website at: http://www.ccde.org/oakstone.html). Refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend this free event.

LexisNexis Congressional Interdisciplinary Content Podcast and Guides If you are interested in the interdisciplinary aspects of congressional content, please listen to the third LexisNexis Academic podcast which is available on their wiki. The congressional interdisciplinary guides cover topics such as Botany, Photography, and Native American Art, which are all topics that are not necessarily associated with congressional material. You can also find a handout entitled A Database for All Disciplines which summarizes content contained in the interdisciplinary guides.
